This is something I honestly never thought I would put on the wiki. Doland is a long running gag that began as a one off joke about a goddess of waterfowl in one of my pathfinder campaigns. My DM loved the joke and ran with it, and after a little bit she bled over into my other weekly pathfinder campaign, and became a part of the official canon pantheon. Cut to 5 years later, and I decided "why not" write an article about this bizzarre and eldritch entity who loves to cause mischief with her minions. I honestly thought the concept and idea of the article would get shot down pretty quickly… but here we are.

I really enjoyed taking a look at this as a draft. It had the perfect amount of silliness that kept me reading, wanting to find out what would happen next. Glad to see it posted!

I've always loved this silly waterfowl goddess and am glad to see her getting the treatment she deserves. Good article besides, great execution of a very silly concept. Praise Doland!

E-7810-042 was manifested in a secluded habitat where it promptly flew up and perched upon Dr. Anseriform’s head. Dr. Anseriform claimed there was not a duck on their head. All other researchers present confirmed that E-7810-042 was indeed perched on her head.

Upvoted if nothing else than because I can always appreciate a good Pratchett reference.
