(TW: Mentions of Self Harm and Suicide) A play on a small part of the illiad myth with a grim ending. Its a spear that curses It's users to die a painful self-inflicted death.
I moved and trimmed your thread summary, since it was taking up extra space in the main forum screen. Try to keep thread descriptions (the text in the little box under the thread title) and titles short so you don't crowd out other authors in the forum listing. ~Zyn

Elevator Pitch: A spear said to have belonged to an anomalous warrior in ancient Greece (Ajax the Greater from the Illiad) who went mad and tried to slaughter all his allies before ending his own life. The Spear would bounce around European museums, being constantly lost due to its anomalous effect causing anyone who kept it to be afflicted with madness and end themselves. The spear is somewhat sentient and will always find itself in someone's hands, and ultimately cause their death.
Central Narrative: The Primary Narrative focuses on the spear and the toll it takes on the researchers on the case. Within the article there will be a story of how the spear was acquired, typical effects of the spear, and numerous tests run with the spear. The spear was found by a junior researcher, who came into contact with the spear when it was recovered from an old decommissioned German bunker by his father (who was an archeologist). The spear took his father’s life through its effect; causing the researcher to take a second look at the spear and find it’s history of suicide. Now that the spear was acknowledged by the facility, there were many attempts to contain it. Though, the unique attraction effect of the spear caused a concerning amount of SCP personnel to lose their lives; they eventually figured it out. The unique effect of the spear required the spear to be held within an ever changing location, with the staff made to handle it being changed out every week and administered with powerful amnestics to lessen the likelihood of them falling victim to the call of the spear.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: The big attention grabber, I think, will be the ties to Greek myth and the dark subject matter, I personally am a big fan of the more messed up SCPs and I figure someone out there also likes this stuff.
Additional Notes: This is a bit ambitious for my first wiki and I might not be doing this stuff right. But I believe I can do it and I want to try. All feedback is welcome and so are suggestions and questions.
