today my application into the foundation was accepted. To show my appreciation, i wish to propose an scp article I have been working on. I believe this anomaly needs immediate foundation attention!

Elevator Pitch: There's resturant's that serve the best pasta you've ever tasted. But this pasta is parasitic by nature, and consumes people who consume it from the inside, eventually becoming doppelgangers of their hosts. These creatures even split open to combine their bio mass, and that's what's transformed into those delicious pasta dishes served to the public!
Central Narrative: this is an experiment gone wrong. Its unknown what exactly happened, but scientists were doing some tests on a plate of spaghetti. For whatever reason, this spaghetti was stored inside a staff refrigerator overnight only with the words "DO NOT EAT" written on it. To no ones suprise, one of the overnight staff ate the spaggettii, starting an outbreak that the foundation didn't discover for some time. Many nearby restaurants were discovered being entirely operated by instances of this scp. The foundation's attention was brought on by the numerous amounts of locals disappearing.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: People love pasta, but this is some delicious looking pasta you definitely don't want to eat! You are what you eat, But in this case, you literally become what you eat. And what you become is nothing short of horrifying.
Additional Notes: This scp is insidious and sentient. Outside containment it will use any means necessary to infect more victims. This includes methods of transmission extending outside of consuming the initial portion of "pasta". These are through direct or indirect exposure to instances, and are notably much more horrific. There are several different instance classifications for the various stages of this scp. The transformed doppelganger's flesh is considerably denser than human flesh. Because of the threat caused by instances, Containment personnel must follow very specific instructions in order to properly deal with instance outbreaks. A full draft, excluding research and expedition logs, has already been written documenting every current planned anomalous property of these danger noodles in detail. ~600 words
