Okay, I don't wanna have to bring this up, but I'm going to anyway. Though I have not seen the actual show, I've seen so much of it elsewhere; The Velma TV Series. I have seen countless clips and compilations of the show and I've been so offended by how atrocious it was, I believe HBO needs to be taken to The Hague. Aside from the nonsensical glorification of real-world occurrences, every character in that show is so unlikable, act so unnecessarily rude and/or immature, and from what I hear from people who watched the actual episodes, they're down right discriminatory. It's actually horrible.
This TV show is what you get when you combine a smorgasbord of characters from an IP with writers who hate the world.

When I was a kid, around 10, I hated Sherlock Holmes. Absolutely hated the character. And I don't know why I did, because I had never read or watched Sherlock Holmes. But it was strong enough that I brought it up in a class discussion without prompting and confused the hell out of my teacher.
I'm much less angry about him today.
I think stereotypical characters in satires are funny as fuck but stereotypical characters when the creators actually believes them makes me want to tear my brain out of my skull.
