So, anyway, after spending almost a year on site trying to get my first SCP through the normal process, I certainly didn't expect that my first SCP will be a coldpost that was written by pulling an all nighter.

Anyway, thank you to all my critters:

And, that's it folks, chances are this page will be deleted come tomorrow, so, while I'm still here, I'd like to thank you for reading. And I'm gonna go back to rewriting the article I actually intended to be my first.

Post-contest edit: I tried to apply some of the criticism below, but unfortunately aside from shortening the email section, I couldn't really do it without needing to change the article so much it would've became a whole new article. Sorry.

Edit for verification reasons: It seems I'll be using this article to verify I'm an scp author when I need to, so, hello, on Discord I'm En ( will add nicknames as the list expands, if it expands )

This is actually a nice idea, with sort of a poetic sense to it. However, the way you explain how the anomaly works is a bit confusing, and I think it would be better if the pacing is more consistent. There are some places, specifically the emails and Addendum 7750.3, that would benefit more from a quicker pace in my opinion.

Thank you for your feedback, I agree with you on all of your points, and I will probably change it up once ColdpostCon ends. Until then, my hands are kinda tied due to the contest rules. Once again thank you.

I really like the way the anomaly is presented, through these experiments, and the last video log is really, really good. My biggest issue with the piece is how one-tone the characters are. I think this piece is meant to intertwine both the anomaly with the story told by Quincy and Graves, but it just doesn't mix well because the characters are really flat. You do a lot of telling, by explaining exactly how the characters feel and why they do the things they do, but it takes the charm away because it doesn't feel natural. I think an overhaul of the dialogue would help the piece a lot, as the rest was genuinely really good.

Overall, decent article, but the dialogue needs a decent amount of work. Novote.

I can definitely see how that is the case. I'll try to tinker around with dialogue after coldpostcon. Thank you for your feedback.
