excellent character study and i'm gonna be totally cliche and compare it to a piping hot mug of chocolate (the best hot chocolate has bitter notes)

Ah, a ray of joy in this emotionally wrecking world.

Excellent work, I love this insight into Thilo's mind and I love those old men.

This is a really human piece of writing. It's touching, it's painful, but it's also heartwarming. The sheer spectrum of emotions it makes me feel is really impressive. A special shoutout goes to the paragraph toward the end, the one where Zwist sees all of the -43 staff members. Yeah. That one is especially touching. Fantastic work.

Merry Christmas, 43

If tipping a fedora weren't currently socially sus, and if I could pull one off anyway, I'd do it now.

This and the Graveyard Shift made for a great holiday-themed pairing.

This piece is just fantastic. It stands beautifully on it's own, but is elevated by all of the other stories it brings together.
