Something I felt the Rat's Nest canon was always missing was more detail about the actual, literal collapse— the in-between where organizations like the GOC and the UIU/FBI gave their last, and where civilization really began to give way. This is my attempt at depicting that. Thanks to Gwen Winterheart and Perdoh for feedback!

This is pretty neat. I wasn’t as invested in the agents’ stories as I could’ve been, the situations they were in personally didn’t felt chaotic and weird enough for the Rat’s nest setting (then again, I haven’t a lot of Rat’s Nest), but I enjoyed the dialogue between them and the ending made me laugh out loud, so i’m giving a +1 specifically because of it!

I'm glad you liked it! I agree I could've definitely amped up the Rat's-Nestiness of it, but this is still set during a relatively grounded period of the canon— so I wanted to focus more on the slow, gradual collapse of society and organized civilization that's mostly left implied rather than the naked WTF that's typically shown.
