It's recently been brought up in staff chat that there's a bit of inconsistency between the requirements for an author page and the requirements for greenlighting permissions which are supposed to be the same.
The author page hub says that it needs three pages above -10, while the greenlighting rules say that it requires three pages above zero. There's a small window when an author could have an author page with three pages at -5 and the rules are unclear if they could give greenlights at that point.
This problem stems from a change made a few months ago. The greenlighting rules were changed to prevent people from making one coldpost and then skipping to the draft forums when it stagnated at -7.
There's two possible solutions to this, either to change the author page requirements to three pages above 0, or to change the greenlighting requirements so anyone with three pages between -10 and 0 could greenlight. As a member of the crit team I can confidently say that the second option isn't happening, so either we raise the author page requirements slightly or we just let the inconsistent policy slide.
