Elevator Pitch: This particular plushy rabbit can bring back the voice of dead family members for whoever pushes the special button on its foot. Test subjects can ask a question to dead family members and give appropriate or bizarre answers. However, it is limited to one chance to hear the member and can only be MOST RECENT. It has the special ability to replicate the surroundings of the location where the family member died, to add more ambiance and story to where and when the person passed away. However, it doesn't bring back the last words but instead recites whatever the person is familiar with (i.e. Books, poems, prayers, recipes) along with totally other unique sentences. The other ability is the tears, which only appear if the person was by the side of the member, during passing. This is to add more connection between both the person and the item to the dead member. Oh, and it screams as if the family member is murdered… [RETCONNED]
Central Narrative: The central narrative comes from the test logs as the Foundation learns more about how this item works and the people who are tested. The item has a few clues, but the true meaning behind how it can replicate the voices of the dead is still unknown, as the speaker is inaccessible. There is some tragedy in the story, but this isn't supposed to be an overly sad tear-jerker, but a heartwarming or breaking short story with ideas and phenomena.
Hook/Attention-Grabber (Optional): This item acts like a medium, like the ones on TV, where if you wanted a last chance to connect with your most recent deceased family member, you go to it for one more listen.
Additional Notes: Been working hard on this one for over 3 years, because I want if I were to post both the draft and the final product to the site, I want it to be my best work. The draft is complete and will be posted in the appropriate forum once this gets critiqued and greenlighted.
