i 4lso gott4 th4nk the 4m45ing people who looked 4t this before it went up 4nd g4ve me their inv4lu4ble critik, helping m4ke it 4ll the better. they 4re (in no p4rticul4r order) Aftokrator, AnAnomalousWriter, SynthPanda_, Starch Tuber, basirskipreader, Felixou (m4de 4n 4wesome thumbn4il), Fishish, WizzBlizz, Dr Trintavon (c4me up with the title!), LORDXVNV, Dr Galvino , ClownSlayer, FLOORBOARDS, MontagueETC, 4nd DodoDevil! tysm <3

I think somber is still misspelled as sombre lol, but besides that I love the article.

I checked.

Somber (with an “-er”) is the standard spelling in American English. Sombre (with an “-re”) is the standard spelling in British English.

This starts out as a nice easy mood piece, then becomes appropriately sinister without ever crossing the line into cartoonish or overdone. The dissonance arising from that sudden break in tone is spot on and very well done. A great overall example of understated horror. +1

I've seen a good number of this kind of focus in on someone encountering the banality of life and/or their inevitable death. To be honest, they usually seem… contrived, for lack of a better word. As in the anomaly and story alike are bemt around a generic come-to-terms template, and this 3xpreasing v3ry little once all is said and done.

This subverts that trope masterfully, by both involving the subject at the very beginning of the process while also leaving them themself to first experience closure, with secondary witnesses affected aroujd that but always in a less direct way. Overall one of if not the best piece in the general *nostalgia of death general theme I've come across. Very well done.

Piece is a good show of getting old and into a routine from day by day and the log is written very well. But at the same time it is very broad/open/wide/vague (idk wording). It is both impressive yet missing a punch depending on how I look at it. Gonna no-vote this time.

I really really like the imagery in this article. It sets a very beautiful while also a little bit eerie tone that I dig so much. Unfortunately, I'm kept from upvoting by the punchline. The punch (or at least, what I assume is supposed to be the punch) is described so briefly and reductively that it almost seems more like an afterthought than a punch. Additionally, it's pretty much the same as CWW's SCP-3707, making this article feel a bit like a less-impactful version of that. Sorry, this had a lot of potential, but it's a novote from me.

Beautiful imagery, but the substance of the article is shallow and cheaply appeals to primitive emotions.
