Bury the Survivors in its entirety is available in print and ebook format on Amazon. The full novel contains scenes of graphic violence and euphemistic/encoded/nonexplicit/downright prudish sometimes/camera pans away into the fireplace sexual situations, and is inappropriate for younger readers.

I'm really enjoying this almost-slice-of-life inspection of the workers if 43, it's very well balanced with the wildly creative, fantastical, and desolate post-breach exploration.

No, a "geas" is basically like, a memetic/thaumaturgic Non Disclosure Agreement. Someone under the effect of one is unable to communicate about a certain thing/topic. They have been used in the past, notably around the UIU.

I have to agree with Greebo — the flashback sections pair nicely with the AcroAbate Facility of Horrors. With added layers of context, each section hits even harder than it otherwise would, providing a pretext for why Nascimbeni and Ibanez react to their environment in the way they do.

Hopefully the claustrophobia of the hell-labs is behind us… Right? Right??

Mirroring both Greebo and Flops; the flashback/reality combo works wonderfully not only in characterization, but also in pacing. Really makes you not feel the length at all.
