So… I wrote it.
And I hope it won't turn out, well, horrendously bad, to say it mildly.
It is a take (another lol) from a bit of polish culture and history, which I decided to adapt this way.
Reason? Well. 7312 is 2137 backwards. The meme number used by the satirical part of our internet, which slowly became just part of it, somewhat becoming a meme of its own, aside from the fact that it was the hour on which the Pope died.
I'm bad at explaining things, so to put it short. The fact that Poles got their Pope gave ppl living in PPR (PRL) hope and will to fight more against a bloody regime that was governing here back then. But after the iron curtain has fallen, JP2 started to be more and more praised. The boom of it started after his death in 2005. Some ppl here got… quite fanatic about him and everything related.
That cult started to become satire on its own, and the polish internet just put everything into memes to joke from that.
That would be it, I think.
Hope the story wasn't bad and too long, I still don't have much experience in writing, so it's not the best.
Anyway. Great and grand thanks to Ralliston and
densefish for giving me feedback, and for
KubKac,
Jasiu06 and someone from discord going by the name viridae for trying to find time and willingness to help. I really appreciate all of that and I'm just sorry that I couldn't do it better.
