Translated by Douglas-MA, written by me. Original title of the article was "Those who bark for us", but it was translated into the current title as it was a polish pun of word bark and wait being similar.

Despite having several articles on -PL, I was too lazy to ever translate them, so to test myself decided to post one of translations of my Polish SCP to -EN. God bless you everyone.

That was a bitter yet cute SCP. Though I'm confused: does this mean the dog was immortal only in a limited way? Like, unable to age yet vulnerable to injuries? Or am I missing something?

SCP-PL-180 does not age, but can still very much be damaged or even killed.

I'm not super into this.

Firstly, the article itself had quite a few spelling errors, which I have fixed up, but are rather bothersome for a translation of an article. Of course, this criticism only goes to the translation job, I assume the original Polish article is relatively fine.

And secondly, the whole emotional praxis of the article felt very derivative and not really unique to others similar to it. If I see a dog with the phrase "neutralized" next to it, I already kind of realize what I'm in for, so the ending wasn't really a surprise to me. For what I did like, I think the premise of something that has a schedule that quite literally refuses to be interrupted to be a fun idea, so I don't think the idea itself is lacking, just the execution for me.
