Jack and I heard about this "neololfoundation" thing after reading PlaguePJP's 7kcon entry and decided to give it a go.

In fahsionable fashion, jack stole the rest of this author post from me.

EDIT: well, contest's over, and we finished at +113 votes. Which, you know, lmao

I'm glad to have been able to contribute to the contest, overall. I was pretty much resigned to not post, until jack and I decided to give this a shot last-minute.

Writing this was honestly a race against the clock (wrote it during the last two hours), and Fishish was the real talent behind it, couldn't have done it without him! Super thanks to Kish99, DodoDevil, and Aftokrator for reading this at the last minute, Felixou for making a wonderful thumbnail (!!!) and Dr Trintavon does not match any existing user name especially for helping us workshop the concept during its ideation phase (this literally wouldn't exist without his help either)!

As of yesterday, I became a coauthor to this piece, so I suppose it is only natural that I give my two cents, huh.

Firstly, another round of applause for the wonderful Fishish and Jack Waltz. They're both amazing authors and though I, more or less, presented the full idea behind this piece, they wholly and utterly enhanced it to make it truly wonderful.

This was a dumb joke. A dumb stupid joke idea I threw at these two when they said they had no ideas. A dumb stupid joke about O5-13 and the silly stigma around the number 13. And somehow it because something quite humorous.

I won't lie, I kind of enjoyed this article. I wish there had been more, maybe a bit more background into Thirteen and why this happens. I sort of feel like the article is gimmicky, not just because of the title but because of what I mentioned prior. That said, as it is, your entry isn't barebones nor does it outstay its welcome and I think it accomplishes what you guys set out to do.

So, I'll upvote.

Ideas and Content	One of the O5s is anomalous and it's O5-13. This is like a funhouse mirror version — "neololfoundation", if you will — of Kirby's proposal. It's not that novel.	2
Organization	It's a joke set-up. We're told that this thing is resolved, of course, but not told why. Then at the end it's a punchline. Very shaggy dog.	4

Audience and respect	I'm really mixed on this one because it feels like it was written for the pun. The story is serviceable and you just need to know that the thing exists, but	3

Verdict: +1, but only because this is laser targeted at my sense of humor. Otherwise it's passable/ok.
