A boat is a watercraft of a large range of types and sizes, but generally smaller than a ship.

For 7k, I was very lucky: I got to collab with the prestigious smlt, who we of course all know from their work posting short-form fiction to Reddit. It was a lot of fun seeing this come together, from idea, to draft, to images and styling, to final product!

that was fun. I'm always happy to see smlt flex their creative muscle, maybe theyll do it some more in the future. and its always good to see an aismallard article, so really just a confluence of good here.

My appreciation might be bolstered a bit extra by my interest in the real-world legalities surrounding this topic, but it's a very concise and enjoyable piece of writing either way. You knew what you wanted to explore, you hit the key points, and you wrapped it up with some exquisitely dry humor. It's not the most connected to the contest theme, though on second thought, it's most connected at the pivotal moment, so that's probably enough. Easy +1.

Very neat. The article pulls off the ramping-up of scale and urgency very well, and the action described is concise. Unless I'm missing something, the increasing prevalence of the phenomenon isn't addressed, but other than that the conclusion is fun and strange enough to be convincingly employed as a last-ditch. Good job, both of you!

This twist here reminds me of SCP-4946's in its cleverness. I enjoy articles that expertly exploit how an anomaly functions to effectively neutralize it. I have no critique; a solid +1. Fantastic first article!

“Alright I’ll admit, this one surprised me. When I first started reading I thought it was going to be about the Bermuda Triangle. I was very happy to be surprised by the actual result! The clinical tone in this is absolutely flawless, it truly reads like a scientific report with purposed and failed experiments. Clever use of the theme too, it’s pretty subtle actually. I didn't initially get the ending but what I did, it hit me. And it hit me well, making me burst out laughing. Good work, you two :)

Also, sidenote, I really like the usage of the images in the tabs here. It's very effective.
