Elevator Pitch: A seemingly indestructible full suit of pure golden armor that wields a gold longsword and round shield, all studded with various precious gems. The armor boasts a prideful masculine voice and identifies himself as Sir Anselm the third, despite the armor being seemingly empty its only contents being a blinding glowing light that shines through the helmet when opened. Sir Anselm claims he was born in 1096 during the time of the first crusade and is of European descent. He is strictly catholic, and continually makes reference to his religion during the few conversations the foundation has managed to have with him. Sir Anselm has the ability to completely vanish and appear in a place where a hero is needed, often to engage beings seen as potential threats by others in battle. This leads to Anselm manifesting during many containment breaches as he has said that he prefers the tougher opponents presented by the breach over petty criminals.

Central Narrative: Sir Anselm first came into contact with the foundation during an SCP-076-2 or "Able" containment breach. Sir Anselm manifested after Able had slaughtered his way through a small battalion of guards and seemed to challenge the warrior to honorable combat. Able graciously accepted and the 2 fought for a full 28 hours until the guards who had just been observing the entire time realized that with the combat prowess of Able and indestructible nature of Sir Anselm would cause an endless stalemate, and stepped in to re-contain SCP-076-2. With this the golden suit of armor protested that “One shall not interfere in honorable combat!” After which Anselm vanished before the guards could call a researcher in to question the anomaly. After that, a large amount of incidents involving Sir Anselm appearing during containment breaches led to the Foundation creating a file on the suit of armor, and to prompt all researchers to inquire about the nature of the anomaly when it appeared before it can disappear. So far this is the only way the foundation has gathered the information they have on file, and all attempts of containment have failed, with Anselm simply vanishing before any permanent containment can be established.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: I wanted to create a safe and benevolent anomaly to contrast with the usually cruel and evil anomalies contained by the foundation. A unique quality is Sir Anselm’s constant tendency to avoid containment and spite the foundation even while actively resolving containment breaches much to the humiliation of the foundation.

Additional Notes: I’m also considering tying in Sir Anselm’s story with the GOC if I get to writing a complete narrative.
