Elevator Pitch: SCP-XXXX is a powerful leviathan that roamed the seas of the Caribbean. When slain that who slew it, becomes it.
Central Narrative:
The Foundation discovers the carcass of SCP-XXXX and an empty ship with a book on it. The carcass is on the ocean floor. (which will make sense later) The diary tells the story of a girl who lost her parents to SCP-XXXX; after narrowly escaping XXXX, she plots her revenge and eventually gets it. The encounter forces her to ground her ship on an island. While stranded she decides to write her story so that when someone discovers the wreck they know what happened. As a result of killing SCP-XXXX, she begins turning into it. She vows that if she turns, she will take herself to the deepest pits of Davy Jone's Locker1 The goal is to tell a story of a person who becomes what they saught to destroy. Ending with them turning and choosing to sacrafice themself instead of having someone else meet the same fate.
