Messaging systems like google chat, discord, etc. (if not possible, can anyone give me an explanation?)

As I have encountered, there were problems with the IRC system, such as a bug that does not allow me to enter the IRC chatrooms. If anyone have encountered these similar/other problems, we would probably want another messaging system (note: the servers can be used as backups), that could work the same way as IRC.

Like I have mentioned in the summary, there are apps that can fit this job perfectly. And the apps can be free/used in a browser.

That's pretty much it. I'm open to questions and some comments about this.

From what I know of IRC, this is pretty unusual. Also, looking at your forum history, you have a comment here noting you received IRC feedback:

Can you confirm the error message you receive upon attempting to access IRC?

The forum was months ago, so this problem is recent. The message also looks like this: Disconnected from the server (xhr poll error), The Lounge does not reconnect in public mode. There was also this: Service worker failed to fetch an url: Failed to fetch.

That was an issue with the installation of The Lounge that bluesoul used to maintain. SkipIRC never had any control over that one, unfortunately. Sorry for the inconvenience.
