I always did wonder about that one bit of the Turnpike just after the Casciano Memorial Bridge. Lots of repair cones, no sign of repair personnel…
This is one the first SCPs I read, and was instrumental in convincing me to stick around. A very belated upvote for it.
This explains why one of the streets in my neighborhood was under construction for four months and I never actually saw a person operating any of the machines.
Actually, now that I think about it, this is the ONLY explanation that makes sense… wow, that's spooky. O_o
You don't remember those guys in suits visiting you during that time?
My only complaint is that four days to repair a road is highly unrealistic.
With all the things that live in the SCP Universe, speedy road repair is his number one problem?
this is generally good, though it needs more of a hook.
Tests with construction on and attempted disruption of SCP-369 have resulted every time with the subject being covered in liquid tar and [DATA EXPUNGED] until the bones and inorganic hard materials were ejected onto the roadside.
that redaction is pointless.
This thing needs to come to colorado. We already have tons of road work, but this would actually repair the roads, instead of having constant lunch breaks! 4 days, merciful god that sounds wonderful.
However, the hook is weak, so no vote.
There are a couple of tone spots that could be smoothed out, but it's a good simple anomaly that I can relate to.
+1
Effect seems limited to paved United States roadways
Explains why the roads where I live aren't being fixed. Potholes everywhere!
