[DATA EXPUNGED]
Hello David de Villiers,
This message is to inform you that you are currently in violation of our licensing and attribution requirements (quoted below). Please take immediate action to correct this.
The SCP Foundation wiki and all unique concepts and terms associated therewith are licensed under Creative Commons Share-Alike 3.0 (explained further http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ here); this means you are legally free to use them, but your use of them must also abide by the terms of the CC-BY-SA 3.0 license. Specifically, somewhere on your product's description page, you need to include a link to the Foundation wiki (http://www.scp-wiki.net) and a link to that license, along with an explanation that the SCP Foundation and all associated concepts abide by that license. Additionally, any derivative concepts that you produce based on those concepts must also be licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0, and you must include that notice in your description as well. This is so that individuals can both track down where your ideas came from and know that they can use and create similar ideas under those conditions.
Additionally, each copied page must be attributed and licensed in the same manner.
If you are unsure what any part of this means or what you need to do to satisfy these requirements, please feel free to ask for clarification from myself or another member of the License Experts team.
Thanks,
GreenWolf, SCP License Experts Team
I apologise if I have done any offense.
By "writing a book", you mean "copying our stuff, plus the wikipedia pages, and putting your name on it"?
That's a little awkward.
You know, taking down the link to the story doesn't mean we forget about it? The book is still up and you are violating the policy we have in place regarding posting skips elsewhere. Hell, you've even copied and pasted parts of the site that are obviously OOG.
Since he took down the link...

Not to mention the Classes page, the About The SCP Foundation page, the list of sites, the list of clearance levels, the article about Class D personnel, some shit about the different types of staff I don't know the source of, two articles about MTFs, a list of some researchers, hell, even fucking Clef's file!
Please take down the story and/or attribute the articles to their authors. You sure as hell didn't write any of this.
Wattpad has a "Report Story" option that leads to a way to complain about IP violations. You need to be be the IP holder or their legal representative to do it, though. I am assuming that the licensing team already did this.
Please take down the story and/or attribute the articles to their authors. You sure as hell didn't write any of this.
Staff has handled similar Wattpad CC violations in the past. We try to give the author some time to fix the attribution instead of jumping right to getting their stuff deleted. It's totally fine for people to use material from the SCP wiki, so long as they properly attribute.
Please let our Licensing Team handle giving out takedown requests, Quaristice. :)
Righto. Sorry for the trouble, chaps, just trying to help out.
