That is the best backpedal I've ever seen lol, +1. Excited to see where this goes if y'all keep going with it. If not, the Foundation mistaking empathy for an anomaly, which in turn disguises actual psychic potential, was funny, and a great plotline that is believable with this version of the Foundation you all have created. These departments both feel very interesting, and a realistic product of the Foundation attempting to do something about its age.

Again, there is a lack of… Anything here. We have these chains of e-mails that talk about our main character, and that's neat, but it ends up getting nowhere past 'we don't know where she is', which is a development, but adds very little as part of this very same tale. Equally, I think I'm supposed to think that the backpedalling is the main part of the story, but it just feels really weird? Like, finishing the story makes that mail hard to justify: It adds next to nothing to what little plot there is here.

So yeah, sorry, but it's a downvote from me.

This is simply too short to carry a story on its own. Much like the first two articles in the series, this and the previous one feel like they're parts of the same story — but in this case, I think that even if they were joined together, there'd be something seriously lacking from the final product. The backpedal is definitely intentional but its so rapid in an already rapid story that I just have no time to even internalize what happens or why it matters - there just isn't really a plot here, sorry.
