I really liked this one! I could clearly feel the different groups/perspectives both grating and problem-solving with each other, and the solution they arrive at is equal parts ingenious and hilarious.
My only criticism would be that the long, uniform exchange of emails starts to feel visually repetitive. It's all one flat plane of grey emails. The colour differentiation in the emails to, or from, the O5 level does allow the reader some visual cue to when the story is hitting a plateau/ramp up point, but it's a bit flat. A lot of the screen gets dominated by full email addresses and subject lines, though the reader can gloss over that information. Certain sections, especially those internal to the Foundation with very short messages "In what units?" "any units", might have functioned better as a chat log, or direct IM exchange, before jumping back into the official email exchange.
This was still very clever and charming, all while maintaining a believable tone scientific discourse… dealing with unbelievable science-breaking principles. +1
