To me, the only thing stopping this from treading into Welcome to Night Vale’s tone for me is The Foundation’s tone and the singular nature of the threat tethering it from going too absurd.

The only thing stopping this from treading into Welcome to Night Vale’s tone is that Welcome to Night Vale is an audio recording of a human voice, and thus should not be played.

At first blush I thought this was too vague and unscientific to count as a good SCP, but in retrospect that's part of its brilliance. Even if I want just a few more details to help it last, this is ambiguity done right to me. +1
