Glad to see this posted.

You do a wonderful job capturing the spirit of Isaac's character here, and I'm always down to have Merlo taken to task for her flaws.

Additionally, you can really tell you pulled out the stops to have this tale mesh with the events of Bal-Chatri, etc, which again goes to help make the Three Portlands of TTP and 3rd Law feel like a lived in place.

An excellent companion to the Austringer's series.

Electric Jesus is back, baby!

This is extremely solid. Probably my favorite entry in Unusual Investigations — just really, really nails the investigation vibe. The usual quality and pacing are here even better than always, and it's just really a pleasure to read content about magic and Vince. Love the two.

Just keeps getting better. Makes a science out of tale writing, then sufficiently advances that science to make it indistinguishable from magic, on top of making magic indistinguishable from science. Never stop.
