Elevator Pitch: A cult of unknown scale and origin disguises itself as a moderate political group. Membership grants anomalous power, money, and information, in exchange for servitude in death.

Central Narrative: A D-Class is revealed to be a member of a previously unknown anomalous cult, showing a sudden growth in physical abilities. The D-Class is immediately imprisoned and experimented upon. The D-Class is dubbed anomalous himself, and more information is discovered about how the cult works. More D-Class are forced to join, then dubbed SCP-XXXX-1, and are then tested on. Amnestics applied to SCP-XXXX-1 removes all anomalous properties. Examples of SCP-XXXX-1 are killed, revealing a resurrection into a sentient thing, that has memories of both it's own past life as well as those of several others. Further testing reveals that the reanimated, dubbed SCP-XXXX-2, are more physically powerful than even the previously enhanced SCP-XXXX-2, as well as far smarter, due to a shared memory between them. The source of the anomaly is discovered to be a small political organization, dubbed Friends Against Misinformation, the HQ which is raided, revealing several more examples of SCP-XXXX-1, a few examples of SCP-XXXX-2 underneath the basement, and access to information on anomalies. The plot may finish here, with further development deemed necessary by the foundation, or continue as needed.

Hook/Attention-Grabber: Cults, Intrigue, and Hive Minds

Additional Notes: Narrative structure, anomalous properties, and containment procedures would all be very, very helpful here. Any critique is recommended of course, but those seem to be the obvious weaknesses of what I have currently written.

Spoken with author, will move forward with a tentative GREENLIGHT but ONLY if the following points are addressed from our discussion:

1. The elevator pitch is strong, that in and of itself is an impressive start. The concept of this hivemind just being led by a loose change of connected corpses is a fun concept and I think, if you can spoonfeed the reader enough, it would work well.

2. The "giving them superhuman strength" aspect of this anomaly is unnecessary. There are plenty of better examples you can utilize to indicate that the D-Class are different. When you say "Membership grants anomalous power, money, and information" I first imagined that maybe the D-Class were somehow anomalously receiving higher credentials and they were escaping — hence why the interview them and then its revealed later on that they are apart of this cult.

3. I'm a fan of using a blog for this cult, lmao. Having them just list out all of their contact information, addressing, etc. all on a blog page seems like a potentially hilarious oversight that you could use well as a comedic stinger. I would also suggest maybe bumping an indication that this cult exists closer towards the Description. Of course, don't reveal your cards too early, but having maybe an excerpt of the blog homepage and then once the D-Class interview goes along you can reveal a separate blog post which acts like their contract or whatever "Press LIKE to sign!" (lol). It will instantly create some intrigue for the reader, and you can use that to propell them forward into your article

4. I'm unsure of the gimmick in Addendum 5. I think if you're able to sporadically introduce facts to the reader as they progress through the article, the huge reveal at the end would just ring on deaf ears. That being said, I'm not unopposed, I would just need to see it actually written out to determine if that's a good conclusion to your story or not (I would personally play into the more comedic aspect of this since discussing cults in general is a very hard thing to do.)

Echoing Jak's comments that the strengths of this pitch reside in the cult/mystery aspects, and less so on the zombies and superstrength.
