The FAQ page is outdated. It needs an update. Solution? Update it.

Proposed Changes

• Change the title from FAQ to Frequently Asked Questions.
• Get rid of old, now-unneeded questions.
• Rearrange and sequester some entries into appropriate tabs.
• Condense and shorten some answers for readability and brevity.
• Expand and add new more topically-relevant questions.

Timer ran out - Changes implemented.

The refresh discussion will last for 5 days, after which the described changes (and further reasonable proposals) will be implemented unless serious concerns are raised. In the event of split opinions, a vote will be held to decide the outcome.

Not a fan of the possibly condescending (even if unintentional) bit about Series 1. If the point must be kept that the style of old Series 1 is different in terms of writing standards compared to now, there surely has to be a better way to do it. If anything, there's some people, including active site users, who prefer old Series 1 and 2 because it's so different. It would also be pertinent, in my opinion, to mention reading works in general, not solely the site's. Of course being familiar with the site's works is key to writing well for the site, but more than that, you should be familiar with writing in general. Other than that, this seems good to me as far as I can tell.
