I wanted to like this article. The setup was pretty good, and I was curious where this would go. The dialogue turned me off completely though. The dogs voice is inconsistent, and both it and the d class basically exposit exactly what they’re feeling and thinking rather than there being any sense of nuance. There’s not a lot of discovery made by the reader here, you tell far too much.

I quite liked this article, though I do have a problem with the characters' dialogue. I feel the dialogue should be more vague to allow for more open interpretation, particularly on the massive exposition near the end with 5769's origin story. It's just a bit too detailed for my liking. Overall, though, it's a pretty good read, and I did enjoy most of the back and forth betwen the SCP and the D-Class.
