Mm Mm Good
Hmm. I get it, or at least I think I do - this is the island on which all the "if you were trapped on a desert island, what (media) would you want to have with you" hypotheticals occur - but that just seems to be it, and I wanted a twist or another step to the logic or another implication. As it stands, it's just there. So, neutral vote.

Does all of “Karn Evil 9” count as one song?
Super Metroid
And some kind of deserted island survival guide, obviously.
If you get all of "Karn Evil 9" then I'm asking for both parts of "Thick as a Brick".
(or maybe "Dopesmoker")
Oh, I forgot about "Dopesmoker"! That's my new answer.

Hey guys do y'all feel weird after submitting your answer he-
I found this too laconic, personally. Nothing here really strikes me.
This was my feeling as well. If an article is going to be this short, there has to be either a very striking image or a hint at an intriguing deeper story. This mostly reads as "[concept, but SCP]," which doesn't do much for me.
I didn't get this for a minute but I'm glad I did.
I'm super close to upvoting this; it has more or less all the elements that would compel me into something like this. But I feel like it's missing something, just that last tiny thing that would send this into easy upvote territory. Since it's just "what is your desert island list", and there's no real underlying mystery or component to it, it stops just shy of crossing the line for me. I'm not sure if I know what that missing piece is, so I'll just throw out some notes and spitball.
- "An electrical system runs throughout SCP-6603" seems a tad too vague. Of course I know what this means. But I feel like it could be ever so slightly expanded upon, especially given the note that the island doesn't generate electricity. This being the main anomaly that justifies this being an SCP in the first place, there's surely something else to discover here.
- On that note, how did the 12 people utilize this system?
- And actually, I would be greatly interested to know the full scope of the desert island lists. True, that's 12 entries for three categories, but I think that would inject more life and character into the article.
I agree as well. Personally, I would say it would be interesting if it was a certain combination of media that if you answered to that specific question, it would transport you to the island with those specific bits of media, if I'm making sense.
That's what's keeping me from upvoting.

These are the short articles I like. Snappy with a good punchline, and I don’t mean joke
