This was Jak's gift to steph for the 2021 Art Exchange.
Her primary request was "Milk Jesus 2".
This was fun. I had some problems w the execution that i mentioned 2 u on discord & I'm not generally a fan of meme articles but it got enough of a chuckle out of me for an upvote. "FOR THAT IS HOW I MIGHT SHOW YOU THE WAY FROM MILKUTH TO CHEDDAR." killed me.
If I'm being honest I'd rather have liked to see a clean-up of the original article that just made the intentions more clear, while maintaining its short-form and the weird and horrific milk imagery. This has parts of it, but focuses more on the joke route. On account of the updated containment procedures, I think this also works a little less well with Cheese Is Risen than the original.
But all in all, this is still a good article. +1
Now the thing I'm really curious about is how people will react to this who haven't read the original 6542.
Liked the Cheesus and the exploration log, but definitely not a fan of the ending (the picture especially)

By giving more depth to the story and the characters, I personally feel this article doesn't contain that weirdness the OG 6542 had. It's still weird, yes, but it doesn't feel so weird as the first version, because it was weird for the sake of being weird.
I still upvoted, because it was a fun read. I was expecting something more weird and abnormal.

Finally, we can appreciate this SCP without the mess that originally surrounded it. No vote from me though, didn’t really hit anything for me but it’s still quite a nice SCP and an excellent revival from… whatever the original was.
