Yeah, I was worried about the pacing — I wrote this article in a fugue-state, based on a desire to try something different (something more akin to Tanhony's SCP-5761; an article that just goes for narrative over format).
I think that articles like that often involve a lot more length than I was willing to give this. Part of the reason I prefer the more "narrative-less" approach is because I can forego the whole process of building my way up to the narrative (which always clashed with my desire for minimalism). I just want to build a little atmosphere and get to the point — but narrative requires a lot of time spent on the journey.
I'll think about capitalizing the 'Is' — the only reason I didn't is because I have an instinctive dislike for how it looks, visually. But yes, it absolutely is a title he's giving himself.
