Raccoon Noise
hilarious!
NOTE: I think there's a 'direction' mistake: jars normally open by turning the lid to the LEFT, so this anomalous one opened by turning it to the RIGHT. apparently you mentioned these the other way around.
Where I live, Argentina, and the rest of Latin America the jars open to the right and close to the left. I don't know how the matter is in the USA or Europe
Oh, I had absolutely no idea!
I thought driving rules where all that differed around the world!!
I'm wondering if there isn't a language/cultural difference here rather than a physical one.
Screws, lids, faucets, etc. almost universally open counter-clockwise and close clockwise, no matter where you are1- but clockwise can be described as turning to the right or the left depending on whether you're focusing the near or far side of the lid.
I read an interesting article a little while back about how this confusion has rendered pretty much all data on whether dolphins favor a spinning direction useless, so it's not an isolated thing.
You're probably right.
I highly doubt that manufacturers that distribute products worldwide would produce two different kinds of packaging depending on where the product is shipped!
Well, as lids open counter-clockwise, your turn them to the left, but if you focus on the direction the JAR is moving, well, the jar is turning to the right… I guess that's it!
It was already funny enough, but then you had to make that ending hit so personally. +1
