Commanders? You mean overseers?
Yes. I think I saw the other term somewhere else, but overseers does appear to be more proper. Thanks.
(researches) God dang it! Why do all the good theoretical colors have to be taken?
Changing it to… Yellow? Bright yellow? Let's try that.
Octarine is purple-yellow-green, an impossible colour. So yellow-green should be fine. And if it reminds anyone of octarine, well that doesn't have to be a bad thing.
A question. once it has "reproduced", will the new swatch gain a distinct personality, or simply be a different conduit for the original mind?
If it is in fact a single entity that can be spread to a variety of surfaces, could the foundation use it as a form of radio? Imagine a splash of this color on the mouthpiece of a helmet that allows anything the wearer says to be repeated by any other patch of the color.
I'm not sure if I explained that well… it's 4:00 in the morning, so I'm not at my most coherent.
Okay, I get it. I think that each swatch would have a different- well, not different personalities, necessarily, but different consciousnesses. While two swatches facing each other could probably talk with each other, they probably don't work over long distances.
Probably just a typo. Hey, sophie, fix that.
I like this one, even though it does remind me of the hyper-intelligent shade of blue by Douglas Adams. Yellow is a more cheery color, anyway. Upvoted.
Despite numerous dissimilarities, this makes me think of Lovecraft's "The Colour out of Space".
Other than that, not really gripping enough for a vote in either direction.
