A tribute to the terrific NekoChris, may he one day return and render all of this non-canonical! "What the fuck is a Sarkic?" is a direct quotation from one of his forum posts, and his opinions on D-class reflect some of the author's own musings, also on the forums. I like NekoChris a lot. Everyone should like NekoChris a lot.

In case you somehow didn't pick up on it, NekoChris is the rewriter of 093 and the author of all the tests (as well as SCP-610 - "The Flesh that Hates"). This author avatar character is a pastiche of what can be found on various versions of his author page and some of the SCPs he wrote.

NekoChris is awesome.

Dan is every bit the best character to use as a whipping boy for our issues with SCP lore

This was an interesting dive into the characterization of Dan and The Specter who were both give a good explanation of their thoughts in away that made sense to their character. Chris the newest member of the team was done well. I just started binge reading this series and I have to say I was suprised and pleased to see the tale done I was so worried I would have to wait.

My point being good job +1 also I now want to see the specter and the moon Champion meet it just sounds fun after hearing of them both in the same tale.

I am genuinely in love how you wrote The Specter's realization over the past few tales, and how it comes to a head here, especially since I can just tell this won't be the last of it.

The addition of Chris into all this seems a little out of the blue, but I think that's fine. It makes for plenty of intrigue, and I am excited to see what comes of it.

I sincerely thank you for giving THE SPECTER an actual character arc with clever foreshadowing and genuinely tense scenes. I was extremely worried that he'd be reduced to a joke, but I should've known better than to doubt you. Of course, I have to mention the reveal to Chris that 096 is gone. I was wondering when he'd mention that.

I’ve really enjoyed this latest splinter of resurrection you have going here. I know it’s a continuation, but I think you’ve got characterizations here that we’re much needed earlier in the old foes / new faces series. This single story fleshes out Dr Dan and the Spector using the same foil (Chris) without feeling forced. Well done, I’m looking forward to the next!
