My entry for the NIGHTMAREFEST! Man, this was such a crazy ride to write, and almost didn't finish it in time 😰

GOC Format about a series of unknown thaumatological, presumably ritualistic, events that result in chaos and, sometimes, zombie-like entities. Heavily inspired by some tales and stories¹ that were pretty popular back then in the 00s about how an enterprise or a major group of people were somehow related to Satan and carried out dark ritualistic events.

+ and now, some unimportant trivia

• I have literally no idea what an EMERY Counter is; I just mentioned them in SCP-ES-037 and everybody just went with that.
• The idea of this format started when I made a joke map about the anomalies registered by the GOC in Mexico (can be seen here) and included one named "La Tinta Roja" (or The Red Ink), inspired by a tale with the same name by Elizabeth Rojas Samperio. The idea itself, however, was pretty different from what it is today
• I initially wanted to include a GRU-P format in the Retrieved Evidence but eventually discarded it due to the short time I had left to write it and the fact that it didn't really add anything, narratively speaking
• The Oneiroi post being dark and the Parawatch post being white instead of being the other way around was absolutely made on purpose
• Technically, the Tritone interval is not the interval referred to as "the devil in music", but I decided to name the Joint Team TRITONE anyways because DIATONIC SEMITONE was lame

A really interesting read! I loved the worldbuilding of this piece, although I must say I'm not sure what I'm exactly supposed to take out of this one. The girl in blue clothes is definitely important, but I'm not sure how she fits into all this: What these 'zombie-like' creatures have to do with the ritual, unless they are byproduct of failed ones, and the only true one was the Parawatch one.

Regardless, this was really fun to read. Loved seeing different groups interact with each other throughout the piece. Easy +1

Agreed. It's also interesting to see what focus the different Organizations take for the same thing, like the GOC with EVE and the Foundation with Hume, while the Initiative is far more focused on the ritual part. +1

The "blue girl" is, actually, the one carrying out all these rituals and drinking the involved people's blood; it's just that the GOC hasn't seen her nor know she exists. At least not directly.

And the zombie-like people are the involved individuals in the rituals (as the victims) but are not precisely the result of failed ones; they're rather their semi-conscious bodies controlled by something else (a "force", as described by one of the Wanderers)

Fixed! And yes, the Oneiroi post is a quite distorted and vague description of how does an affected subject feel when being in their current state

FOR TRANSLATORS
two lines of the article have been modified; the first is the physical description of The Vampire Lady in EVIDENCE: RENEGADE LATRANS, and the second is the description of TVL's hair in EVIDENCE: FLANDERS LUCID. Other than that, the article remains the same.
