100% convinced it's Placeholder McD. Known for his very unique formatting, usage of BASALT, weird concepts, computers, anomalous science, and colorful and bolded parts of the article, it's surely him.

Seriously, what's up with that?
It was part of an event where a bunch of popular authors posted a skip anonymously with the theme of "HARBINGER" and the "game" as it were was to guess which author it was. Placeholder just happens to have a very very very unique authorial voice and didn't stay anonymous very long at all.
if it's not placeholder it's Azamo. Name 1 other person who's used the surrealistics department in an article (RIP Michelle). also half of their things that apply to placeholder apply to azamo anyways given their collabs but also you only get credit for the first correct guess so there was no point in guess placeholder since ralliston already did.
Also this is the first of the Harbingers to really paint a picture of where it's coming from, I think, specifically because of the manifestation vector.
This hurt my head more than the quantum mechanics exam I'm supposed to be studying for. So yeah, probably Placeholder.
Clearly, this is the work of Placeholder McD. The technobabble and saturation of (para)scientific terminology gave it away almost immediately.
If this isn't Placeholder, or even their very-well-known-associate Azamo, I will [DATA CONSUMED].
I am going to guess Jack Ike since they’ve been using BASALT in some of their more recent works and have a similar style to PlaceholderMcD
To say that some if what I just read went over my head would be an understatement. Is there any way that you could make like a spoilers bit where you explain it?

Basically, this is an AI which uses nonstandard logical rules. For example, it might consider A to not be equal to itself, or similar things.
