For those who wish to play the name game: We will only accept a single guess per reader per page. Further, we will ignore posts with a name and nothing else — so as to dissuade forum-spamming. Be thoughtful about your choices, and please try to have some substance to your posts. The author will reply to a correct comment to congratulate the guesser. Further prizes may abound.

Question about the rules: Could an author pretend to make a guess in order to throw suspicion off themselves, or can we safely rule out people who have made guesses?

My guess is The Great Hippo because of the windmill imagery and because Hippo wrote the other Don Quixote scp.

Also the themes strike me as a modernization of tilting at windmills? If there's a piece that's a love letter to Don Quixote without actually mentioning Don Quixote it'd be this one.

I'm guessing LilyFlower.

I'll be honest, I've got very few clues this time around. What got me was the Author Post music video, which is of Noel Harrison. It reminded me of Lily's Proposal's author post with the Ticky Tacky Boxes.

Also, the Description sort of mirrors SCP-4567, in that we've got some cross out wikidot code going and a whole bunch of instances designated -A through -D.

Unfortunately, she does more experiments/descriptions than exploration logs, so that's a bit shaky. That's all I've got really.

There's lots of excellent creepy imagery here, but I feel like it never coalesces into a satisfying whole. The various parts (windmills, halos, tar-like substance, hole in the ground, stars) don't feel coherent and related enough. Novote for now, might come back later to reassess.

Disjointed but very unnerving surreal imagery?
Dreariness and futility of everyday life?
Obscure, good, but mildly unnerving-in-context song?

That "nce" feels like some sort of typo.

Other than that, the scip was overall very creepy and atmospheric. Definitely a +1.
