Hello everyone, and welcome to the Maintenance and Ancillary Staff Team recruitment thread! We are a team that focuses on the maintenance and upkeep of the SCP Wiki. Due to the large workload typically associated with what we do, we need an equally large roster of staff, so if you are interested in becoming a staff member, or helping the wiki, this is the place to state that interest.
MAST is currently accepting new staff to fill roles in the following teams. You may join any number of these teams, and you will be free to leave and or join other teams at any point during your time on staff.
Collections
- Formulating new ideas for genres and themes that will make up new collections.
- Reviewing and approving new additions to specific collections.
- Categorizing tales based on content and thematic elements.
Navigation
- Improving and updating the front page.
- Adding and removing side/top bar links based on relevancy.
- Updating hubs that are under staff purview such as the Top Rated and Newly Created pages.
Collaboration Pages
- Filtering poor additions to collaboration logs that fall under staff purview.
- Ensuring collaboration pages in staff purview are up to date.
Tagging
- Tagging of newly created pages on the wiki.
- Monitoring pages for instances of tagging that do not follow the rules of the master tag list.
- Messaging users who have performed invalid tagging.
O5 Command Updating
- Maintaining and improving pages on 05command.
- Improving navigation on 05command.
- Updating staff lists when there is a change in staff structure.

A list of teams you would be interested in joining.
Any other information that you feel would make you a worthy candidate for staff.
After you have done this, your candidacy will be proposed to the section heads of MAST, and you will be privately contacted. You will be informed whether you have been accepted, and if you are denied we will privately inform you why. This thread will be checked frequently, so if you are not accepted, you will be considered in any future recruitment drives.
