Hi all, noting that I've made an external forum notifications service for Wikidot.
To get notifications all you need to do is create your config page by following the instructions here: http://notifications.wikidot.com/
Please note that this service is run only by me, not by the SCP Wiki. It is open to any Wikidot user and can be enabled (with my approval) for any Wikidot site. I'm only mentioning it here on the SCP Wiki specifically for convenience's sake.
Using the service is free, but it does cost me money to run; I gratefully accept any donations to help out. (read more)

How it works
The service keeps track of all new posts posted to its supported sites. Every hour (or less often, depending on your config; see below) it checks to see if you are subscribed to any of those new posts (see below regarding subscriptions). If you are, it compiles all the notifications for you in that time period into a single message and sends it to you.
Subscriptions
You will receive notifications for:
- New posts in threads that you made the first post in
- New replies to posts that you made
You can also manually subscribe to any thread or post to receive notifications for replies to them as well. (read more)
You can also manually unsubscribe from any of the posts/threads you would automatically receive notifications about, if you like.
Receiving notifications
You can choose to receive notifications as often as hourly; or daily / weekly / monthly. You don't receive a notification if there's nothing to notify you about. (read more)
Notifications are delivered via your choice of Wikidot PM (for most users) or email (for site administrators whose Wikidot inboxes are already clogged). (read more)
Supported sites / languages
Please also note that the service can support any Wikidot site, but currently only supports a few (see the full list here). I'll only add support for another site with the consent of its management — if you represent a Wikidot site (e.g. an SCP branch) and would like to enable notifications for it, please let me know!
Notifications are able to be delivered in any language, but at the time of this post only English is supported - I'd love some contributions from translators to help here. (read more)
