I've been working on Demon Ogier for the last many weeks, and decided to take a quick break in the middle of it to write something short. This is a piece that was madlibbed together by my followers on Twitter, and I think it turned out really nice actually. Thanks guys!

Also, big thanks to @theapollo90 for a really really great idea for the title, and 7happy7 for the incredible Archive theme used on this one!

Thanks to my child Elenee for reading this over and giving some good ideas and wise insights!

Wow.

I genuinely struggle for words beyond just wow.

The poetry literally took my breath away for a moment, the choice of imagery, the presence of something that not only recognizes Foundation doctors, but D class and everyone… it's hauntingly beautiful in a chillingly sinister way. Because whatever is doing this, for whatever reason it's doing it, doesn't want these people forgotten. And while it presents as a benevolent memory, it could just as easily be a grudge.

+1 for my absolute favorite use of poetry thus far

I had to read it twice: this was just incredible. It felt a bit bittersweet and almost made my cold dead heart a little sad. My favorite part was the poem, which is remarkably solely because I detest poetry with my whole being. That was a perfect fit and perfect end to this.

Very surprising this came out of that madlibs experiment on Twitter, as it’s fairly poignant and haunting.

Also, have you ever watched Phantasm because this reminded me so viscerally of those films (mostly just because a majority of them feature masoleums, not because of any similarity otherwise)

Anyway, this is really great. Would be interested to see you try your hand at this sort of one off, haunting short thing again. +1

I never thought I would see a short article from djkaktus, but what would you know, it was pulled off! Now we have this sweet little piece, and I really liked the attached poem! The pictures looked good too, but whats up with the snow/white spots floating across? I realized, it is just the theme.
