handholding

"Basically a hand that makes baby hands"
- Jack Waltz, when we first started this collab

Aight, people. This is a collaborative effort between myself and Jack Waltz, rewriting an article by Cremo. Special thanks to them for allowing us to rewrite this, and to Jack for being such a chill co-author :D.

Shoutout to AnAnomalousWriter, RevenHelix does not match any existing user name, fabledtiefling does not match any existing user name, LemonBee12, korben600 and TheBoxOfFun, along with many others on the forums or /r/SCPD, for their always appreciated critique. Thanks to blank_zilla does not match any existing user name for the amazing video on they did on this.

As always, I hope you enjoy this!

I love this. The beauty in simplicity can be quite staggering, and the authors of this article hit every target dead-on. I do wish there was a bit more story, but that's more personal preference than professional opinion. Amazing job!

Curiosity killed the cat. Good thing thing the cat was an anomaly.

Well, a moving hand that goes around on its own. Interesting. I think this is a nice little addition to the site.

I still do not know what is up with the site and new <1000 word skips.

Genuinely eerie with a delicious twist that's equal parts weird and heartwarming. I'm certainly not hand-wringing over the quality here (though I found it a little odd someone would write "hm" to themselves).

Thank you, happy to hear you liked this :).

Just a flat 'What?' from me!

Seriously though, I loved this SCP. It's such a massive 'Huh?' moment that that perfect amount of sweet-cute.

I swear this the SCP version of the "our hands just made babies" thing.

A handsomely creepy piece of writing. +1

I like this one! Simple but effective, with the entries and the latter part being very engaging.

If there is one complaint to give, is that some parts read odd: 'However, they appear less capable'; 'Dr Chen was inadvertently' These give a more subjective approach to the article, so I would reword them imo. Also, the last two sentences change tense, which feels jarring. I would change the verbs there as well.

Anyway, past this, it's a nice little skip. +1
