Overall this is very good. I was a little bogged down at some points by the…. history. I felt like I was reading some kind of "in-character" history lecture, but I don't think it's due to poor writing. You've written the character well and the dialogue is in character for the SCP as written. I find the character to be a long-winded pedant, but I probably would be if I knew everything (in fact I'm this and I don't… ;). Your other characters all react accordingly and it all fits well.
SCP-6767: I've had, shall we say, a pretty hard upbringing. Couple of centuries ago I was one of the most valuable items in the Near East. You ever wonder how every Bronze Age civilization in and around there suddenly got their hands on their beryllium bronze?
I think you may be mixing up centuries and millennia here, the Bronze Age was 3300-1200 BCE.
Otherwise, I found this to be a good, well-written, and interesting little article. It's thought-provoking, weird, and a little funny.
