This has been sitting in my sandbox for about a month now. Was holding out for more crits but got no responses. This piece is underdeveloped and horrendously overwritten but some people gave it a lukewarm reception so who knows, maybe it'll survive on the mainsite.

To be clear, I'm only posting this so I can finally stop thinking about it.

Thanks for reading (if you managed to bear with the 9.4k word slog). I'd be lying if I said that it wouldn't hurt if this died.

So, this is finally up. This impresses me, as you did not seem to run into writer's block with it. I still think the atmosphere of this is certainly creepy. Also, with the long list of short articles being posted recently, this is certainly an anomaly in that trend. Get it? Anomaly…No. andromedaz!

Also, just as a little sidenote, you spelled my name wrong (andromedaz ) in your post. And credit the image. :)

Also, I think the image attribution should be at the top of my author post. I did edit it in, though, so maybe Wikidot hasn't loaded it in yet.

I don't think the science essay in the middle of the article was needed it mostly just repeated things from the description. Other than that this was great.

I actually really enjoyed the science bit. It might just be my bio student showing through, though.

Other than some sections where it dragged a bit, this was overall a very enjoyable read and, despite its length, didn't feel like a slog to read through. +1.
