It's not better to safe than sorry! Here goes nothing!

Here's my MemeCon entry, that I had fun banging out in just 6 hours.

Sadly, I couldn't find a CC compatible image I could turn into a good picture for this with rotoscope sketch filter, but maybe I could be allowed to add that a little later. Or would that count as a major edit?

I think this article could do with a round of close edits, focussed on some generous trimming. At the moment, the Special Containment Procedures and Description go into a lot of excessive detail that can be a tad repetitive, and more importantly, doesn't really tell us anything compelling about the object, its effects, or why we should care about it. Sure you've given us a lot of information about it, but it isn't quite compelling enough to really hold my interest.

Kind of related to that, although I suspect a more subjective take, but I personally didn't find the interpretation of the music video to be particularly impactful. You spend a lot of time building up to the exploration, and it just doesn't land for me. The dialogue doesn't manage to carry it either in the way it could.

I also find the inclusion & explanation for the song lyrics at the end to be a little forced.

No-vote for me, I think taking the time to look at this post-con and deciding what's important to the article and what can be cut would help it quite a bit. Knowing what to not include can often be hard, but I think it would make a sizeable impact here.

Hmm. This is hard. I agree that it need a couple of edits, specially around the first half of the article, as it's fairly dense and feels as though it says very little. The AWCY aspect also feels odd considering it doesn't ties to anything else but itself, but I can somewhat excuse that.

I like the idea of the concept and the last interview, although a goofier tone than usual, sold me on the idea strongly enough to upvote. However, I was very close to no-voting it, for the reason explained above. It's a good piece, but a revisit after the con's over would def help this article.

the overall article needs trimming. i found myself wanting to get it over and done with well before the end. but the final log was full of personality and was very pleasant. it felt fun in a very authentic way. imma give this one a +1

I feel like the article could use some trimming, but otherwise a great attempt at turning a popular song into a fun scp without being "too memey". +1 (I swear years ago I had a thought that this song would be a great scp)

I think this article has a huge amount of potential, but needs some pretty substantial editing. It's too long, for one, but mainly the style is not consistently Foundation. I especially do not like the "interview" at the end; a Foundation researcher ought to be much colder and harsh, unless there is some anomalous effect forcing them to be laid back.

The first bracketed "Warning" was incredible. It actually terrified me in a way few SCPs even approach nowadays. If that's a direction you want to go, I'd love this to pieces. The creepiness you could develop from Take On Me monsters, borne out a bit in the manifestation events, is surprising.

But the other side of the article is light hearted and silly. That can be a fine direction too, it just feels like you flip between the two. The darkness could be a sinister side to the silliness, but instead it feels bipolar to me.

Interesting concept with very good ideas. Needs editing and further development to get me. For now, no vote.
