This is a sequel of sorts to Mission Accomplished, a tale I wrote a while back about Foundation diplomacy and the kinds of strings you need to pull to get things done during international negotiations, but you don't need to read the first tale to understand this one. This is also a return of Richard Brooks, my interpretation of the office of United States Liaison (aka the Foundation's official liaison to the US government) which was first created in the Coldest War Canon.
