The personnel at Experiemental Research Area-144 are having a rough time, until they get SCP-5000 working.
I moved and trimmed your thread summary, since it was taking up extra space in the main forum screen. Try to keep thread descriptions (the text in the little box under the thread title) and titles short so you don't crowd out other authors in the forum listing. ~Zyn
Seeking Greenlights: Yes
Page Type: Tale
Page Layout (Optional): Switches between three settings in the facility; one testing cell to another, and then to the site directors desk.
Elevator Pitch: A meek introduction to Experimental Research Area-144, a Foundation facility located in the Badlands of South Dakota that specializes in turning anomalous objects into gadgets and weapons for their agents to utilize in the field.
Central Narrative: The simple plot follows Level 3 researcher Dr. Montana as he is called from his current testing grounds for SCP-1998 to another, and finds that fellow researcher Dr. Carmine is currently testing out the fully repaired Absolute Exclusion Harness, SCP-5000. One agent is wearing the suit while two volunteer agents attempt to fight the one with the suit, to which the two doctors briefly argue over the rules of letting agents do that instead of D-Class. He eventually gives the news to Site Director Granite, who starts to share his dismay at the state of the area as they haven't been able to get as much done as they should, only getting a handful of projects done in the five years the site has existed.
Hook/Attention-Grabber: I figured the idea that Area-144 deals with turning contained objects into useful gadgets would be an interesting idea itself. I know it isn't exactly something the Foundation would consider doing, but, I figured there could be one exception.
Additional Notes: I think I particularly need help in how I can really expand the length. I'm content with what I've come up with so far, seeing it as exactly what I wanted written, but any advice and additions to the narrative are appreciated.
