oh wow, forgot to fill this original post. whoops.
anyway, I went ahead and lightened the background and blockquote colors due to some complaints raised about readability. I also went ahead and fixed a few bugs with the Ayers info module and the history tabs so hopefully this works better

i just, generally, do not like the fade in trend in recent themes. this theme, other then that, is mostly fine. however, i personally am not a fan of the black on white monochromatic coloring, and the hyperlinks stick out like a sore bug and make it difficult to read.

Are you sure they aren't just sticking out because there's a bunch of them on this one page?
not really, it's just the link style in general, though for me that is mostly just personal preference.

I really don't like the flicker in effect on load; it's pretty detrimental to actually reading the article, more so than Croq's flow. It effectively blocks reading of anything upon load in, where as flow at least allows you to read the first few paragraphs while the lest loads in (and is quicker at that as well).
can I get some nice "no signatures on my forum"

understandable have a nice day
I like the centered header and the lack of shading. The hyperlinks are way too bright for my taste, have you tried using a gray text colour?
I appreciate monochromatic themes normally but two colours are not enough to make a wiki more interesting. The Placeholder Theme is forgiving to look at as it has two colours instead of of one with variety (a mellow blue and gray). An idea I had is to include the colour red here. Red borders and red hyperlinks perhaps?
In my opinion, the color red would completely ruin this theme. It's perfectly fine as monochromatic.
Sure thing! There is probably a point in it actually being monochromatic in the first place.
This implies that I am clever enough to make this monochromatic by design, when I am in fact just afraid of changing BHL's color variables so I defaulted everything to black and white
