Unfortunately this just didn't hit for me and concepts similar to this have been done before(See furred trout). The build up didn't feel right nor did it really click well with me. I would strongly suggest cutting back the amount of details in the description or even having this be an SCP draft. Even with that being edited I really didn't get to feel for either of these characters, and the actions seemed illogical, which while called out in draft didn't really feel paid off for what happened. Personally if this were me, I would create this to where it is a draft of a document and a site shut down didn't occur so the action of forgiveness doesn't feel forced or not really earned.

I like the concept, but I feel that it's somewhat abrupt. There's also a lot of information told rather than shown.

I think that one way to improve this would be to add some test logs of researchers trying to find the anomaly before giving up and questioning why they are researching this, or interview or security footage logs showing us how the O5's demands for answers lead to staff and other SCPs being put in danger. I feel that allowing the readers to piece together the reality of the situation themselves would result in a more emotionally compelling story.
