I find this "research-'still'-in-progress" style of article to be very charming since it gives this creepy mystery vibe that I haven't felt in many of the articles I've read recently (add subjective grain of salt here).
Might be thanks to the fact that all the Foundation knows about this anomaly only comes from non-Foundation eye-witness testimonies creating a "ghost story" feeling.

I could do with more articles like this. +1

The rabbit ears coming towards people is a surprisingly unsettling piece of imagery.

Fun mystery. Like pastarasta1 said, the rabbit ears stretching ridiculous lengths is a great visual. I wish there were a little more intrigue that would play into the 'in-progress' style of the article, but it really does capture the feel of a slightly disturbing local legend.

Somehow it lacks a punchline, even if well written otherwise it didn't land for me.

For example, what if the ghost legends amplified by the foundation were empowering aspects of it in the past, present and future and it begged them to stop during easter, but the warnings were ignored because chocolate eggs were harmless and delicious so the skippers didn't connect it with the deaths?

…and then came the "easter bunny lays eggs" legend created by the foundation to solidify the harmless aspect? Now THAT is one department that gets laughed at HARD if it's mostly classified, LOL

…or it could be the embodiment of certain foundation researcher nightmares. Give 'em enough therapy to fix it?

P.S.: needs a "what's up" said to a doctor.

Agreed with others, the imagery is unsettling and the in-progress state of the article is much more effective for horror. +1

Is that group at the end meant to be related to that, uh, anomalous hunters GoI I recall seeing once upon a time?
