Hello!
I had a rather poorly written idea posted to idea forum, an awesome community member gave me some suggestions but they liked my idea and recommended I ask some of the Butterfly folk for feedback after revision.

I revised and made it (sorta) better and an lovely Butterfly came along an recommended I do further revision before I go any further.

I have a concept for a moderate revision of the idea and was wondering: Is it normal to contact the same Butterfly again? Should I assume that confirmation or rejection of a greenlight is unanimous (What if first Butterfly says yes, second says no)?
Do Butterflies often suggest that the SCP simply not get made?

You're free to do so! Ultimately, it comes down to the reviewer if they want to respond, but contacting the same reviewer to take another look is very common and is occasionally encouraged by some.

It isn't unanimous. Every Butterfly Squad member has their own strength, weaknesses, and likes. For instance, if you want to write an comedy article, a reviewer that likes comedy may enjoy your pitch, whereas one who dislikes comedy may not. The Butterfly Squad Roster itself has the strengths and likes of every critter, so my suggestion would be to contact the one that is the most suited to what you're trying to create.

Occasionally. The only times this may happen is when the article is too bogged down with negative elements, some parts are inherently problematic, the author simply may not be suited to writing it, etc. Personally, I don't do this often, but a critter's judgement tends to be quite firm when they suggest you stop.

The Butterfly Roster gets kind of weird for me when they have "Any concept" in their description and after I was told to revise or re-evaluate I refrained from getting a second opinion even though I got a positive response initially from someone else.

Very! Follow-up is a common practice for critters, especially if the advice given by that crit was something you used when making the revisions. Don't hesitate to reach out, although some critters may of course decline to comment again.

If one butterfly squad member gives you a greenlight, and another doesn't, you have one greenlight. Although, you've only had one person comment on your thread who's capable of greenlighting.

Looking over your thread, cybersqyd was suggesting you turn your idea into a tale, not that you should give up.

My questions was just so I know what the standards are, I plan on trying to reach our to my Butterfly again and see If I can change their mind. I understand only 1 qualified person has seen my post and critiqued it. Maybe reaching out to a Butterfly I found that likes the specific theme of the idea if I change Cyber's mind.
