A good article that's reminiscent of Waco and other federal sieges. +1
A big +1. I love the subtle, building weirdness. Although I'm unsure why it would be considered neutralized, the cult had to go somehwere right?
Also, I'm curious about how accurate the Fifthist vibes I'm getting are—a 5-legged green carrot in a cult garden seems up that alley.
This is well written and the layout is superb but… It's not really an SCP. It feels like it's more of a tale or Canon then an actual SCP.

I think we fundamentally disagree on what makes an SCP.
at Incident WEEPING GYRE Adjunct Documentation: SIERRA FOXTROT Firefight Log.
this has a link that goes nowhere.
WHITE: There's different gods.
this crosslink to 3125 feels unnecessary.
overall still a very tense read with a nice (though predictable) ending. +1.
The link that goes nowhere is almost certainly intentional, implying the existence of an in-universe document going into more detail that is not provided to us for brevity's sake. I've seen a lot of skips do it in the past.
So getting from 3125's link and that Conehead was a preacher: is White Red's mom? He was originally planned to be a preacher as well so i can tell he did made his dad proud. I don't know wheither or not the timeline matches his age tho. (heh white is red's mom colors having families)
Not actually that well aware.
Damn good. Feels like reading about the Waco siege but with a weird, anomalous twist.
+1.
This bit seems odd:
RENO: For hours?
WHITE: He is- was, a good preacher.
RENO: Then the flash of light. What was that about?
WHITE: He is- was, a good preacher.
RENO: Jesus nuts usually are.
Is it a typo?
Primary complaints:
-The commune has no anomalous traits besides the weird carrot. Why is it the SCP?
-The preacher is the anomalous object and escaped, so why is this neutralized?
-Nothing happened here involving containing an SCP. It's just a raid on a compound run by a weird bender.
The writing is good and engaging, but the focus of the article just doesn't see right.
